Hi there,
I`m currently evaluating 3dbrowser for our company and we have a number of large cad files (.fbx,.obj) on our network. I`m noticing that theyre causing 3dbrowser a hard time rendering the thumbnails. Is there a way to stop the cataloger automatically trying to add a thumbnail for these large files?
Thanks
Paul

Re: Excluding object files from browser/thumbnail creation
Hello Paul,
No there is no way to exclude a specific file in a directory from the thumbnail process.
Even if it take some time, 3DBrowser should be able to generate a thumbnail.
Once this thumbnail has been generated, it will not be generated again, unless the file changed.
Yours,
Manuel

Thanks Manuel, what i did was assign a generic thumbnail to the large files so it would skip them.
