I just purchased and installed 3D Photoeditor and in the installation checked the box for putting POlycruncher in Max 9.
When I opened max 9 and a scene file, I went to the utilities (more) and did not find polycruncher in there. What did I miss on this installation?
Thanks for any help. I wrote tech support but have not heard back from them.

Hello !
I don't understand if you are trying to exchange scenes between 3D Photo Browser and 3DS Max or if you want to use Polygon Cruncher for 3DS Max
In the following reply, I suppose you want to exchange between scenes 3D Photo Browser and 3DS Max.
First be sure that you are using 3DS Max x32 bits. The exchange plugin does not work for 3DS Max x64 bits.
This will be done for the 2007, third quarter.
Now, let's check you correctly setup the plugin.
1- Run the 3D Photo Browser setup
2- Select Plugin 3D Photo Browser for 3DS Max 9
3- When it is required, select the 3DS Max 9 plugin folder. Usually this is something like ...\3DS Max 9\StdPlugs
4- Once the setup is finished, you may check that you have the file 3DBrowser7_90.dlu in the ...\3DS Max 9\StdPlugs folder.
5- Run 3DS Max and switch to the utility panel.
6- Click on the more button...
7- Select in the list 3D Photo Browser and click OK
You are now able to exchange between 3DS Max and 3D Photo Browser.

Re: polycruncher did not instasll on max 9
I experienced the same problem.
3D Photobrowser shows up in Max 9, just fine.
Polygon Cruncher does not show up in Max 9.
I don't have C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 9\stdplugs\polygoncruncher6_09.dlu . My 3D Photobrowser 3.9.1 works fine, and is available in Max. Just no Polygon Cruncher.
Please help.

You have to setup the correct package:
Manuel
- - Polygon Cruncher for 3ds Max is contained in the Polygon Cruncher package
You will see Polygon Cruncher in the 3ds Max utility list by setting this package up.
- 3D Photo Browser plugin which allows exchanging 3ds Max meshes with 3D Photo Browser is contained in 3D Photo Browser package
You will see 3D Photo Browser in the 3ds Max utility list by setting this package up.

Thank you.
I thought the 3D Photobrowser installation, contained the plugin for Max. I got the separate Polygon Cruncher installation, and all is well now.
Thank you much.
