Verify Feature
It appears the next verify feature is not functional. Is this a result of the trial version?

Demo limitations
Are they limitation with the demo licensing? I am evaluating this product for my company but have found several issues with it. I am wondering if some of them are due to the demo licensing?

Hello,
Yes there is limitation. The text are truncated when performing the exportation.
The demo mode does not affect the Next To Verify command. This command works only if the verify flag is checked.
If you don't have any items to check, the Next To Verify command does not perform any action.
Note
The verify flag is set when some items were changed when your resource is updated.
You can also switch the verify flag manually using the Tools > Invert the verify flags (F10):
Instead you may use the Next / Previous Item command (F5 / Ctrl+F5).
