Hi,
if I browse through my Evermotion OBJ collection, than I get all object shown from downside. Could be nice to get an option to turn the view for specific directories or to conver all files of a dir to the standard orientation. The OBJ from DOSCH are shown right.
Best-
Micha

Re: 3D objects of Evermotion OBJ collection is shown from downsi
Hello Micha,
This is a feature missing in 3D Photo Browser.
Adding a control to the default view depending on the format would be nice.
I still have to think the way it should be implemented (by file format, by directories...)
Thanks,
Manuel

Re: 3D objects of Evermotion OBJ collection is shown from do
This is exactly the the problem I joined the board for... Has there been any emprovement made in the last 6 years on allowing us to se a default face, instead of it allways being "UP" ? Or maby just a hint of where in the setup code we could type in 'FRONT' & call it good...
Help would be mucho appreciated!!!

Hi,
You can define a specific point of view for previewing the thumbnails.
First open a 3D viewer.
This specific point of view can be defined:
* For a specific file (Tools > Update Thumbnail > Define As Specific Point of View or Ctrl+U)
* For a specific extension (ie OBJ files, Tools > Update Thumbnail > Define As Specific Point Of View for .OBJ)
* For all extensions Tools > Update Thumbnail > Define As Global point of view
I hope one of these option will match your needs.
If you have another idea about point of view, please let me know. I'll be pleased to add the option.
Yours,
Manuel
