problem with format mb (3d maya)

im try to convert max file to mb ,convert! but no material just wireframe show in maya and in hypershade no material (zero!)
please fix
that program awesome and vary important

Could you post the mesh you are trying to convert and the way you proceed?

I can also suggest you to use the FBX format as a pivot format.
Just export from max to FBX then import your FBX in Maya.

This is at least a workaround, but we will be interested to know more about the procedure you use for this specific conversion.
