HTML exportation Overview

This feature creates HTML pages using the files that are in a given directory. Predefined templates give various results, without needed to know anything in the HTML language. If you are familiar with the HTML language, you can also create your own templates using the 3D Photo Browser specific tags

To understand how to use this tool, you must distinguish the following elements:

• Source files
  They are the files to export to the HTML pages. Depending on the template a source file might appear as an image (reduce or not) or as an HTML link to the file.
• HTML template
  It is used to create the HTML pages. 3D Photo Browser offers predefined templates such an HTML slides show, a contact sheet... A template is made of one or more HTML pages. It can include frames or JavaScript code. It contains 3D Photo Browser specific tags, which inform the application on the way to display the files on the page (image or link), the required image size and the number of files to include to the page... Files information can be acceded and integrated to the HTML pages through the Information tags.
• Destination directory
  This is the directory where the exported HTML pages are saved. This directory also contains the images, and eventually a copy of the files themselves as well as all the files that are needed to correctly display the HTML pages.
• Conversion options
  These options define the image format to use (gif, jpg, png) when 3D Photo Browser creates an image from a file during the exportation process.

In addition, you can create your own templates.
