Using tags to get access to files properties

Tags are dynamic parts of the text, which give access to the files properties. They allow to display or print information that are different from one file to the other, or which are dependant of the using context.

3D Photo Browser uses tags in several functions. For example, you'll find them in Print contact sheet, custom display tab, or tooltip text edition.

There are several tags categories:

Conditionals tags: these tags enable text print or display only when tags between the condition exist. For example, <tagifexist>Image width: <brt2dwidth><tagendifexist> is displayed only when <brt2dwidth> exists. The text is not displayed for files which are not images.
Tags which gives access to file properties. This information must have been edited using the Properties dialog box.
Tags which give access to image properties. Most of these tags are useful when images come from a digital camera.
Tags which give access to 3D scene properties.

Note: some features have their own tags, such the Print contact sheet feature. For example the tag <brpcatdir> displays the path of the printed directory, the tag <brpdate> inserts today's date...
