Set colors and borders for each page elements. Text colors are defined in the text tab.

Use colors and borders

Check this option if you want to define background colors for cells, header, footnote and image. Some buttons might be inactive, depending on the settings of the dimensions tab.

All parameters are inactive when this option is unchecked. No borders are displayed around page elements and the elements background are transparent.

Colors

Check a box to define the background color of the matching element. Set the color by clicking on the colored button and using the color box selector.

Note that if left uncheck the color of a given element, the background of this element is transparent.

The opacity setting is active only when an image apply to the element.
Suppose you have a background image that covers the background page. Selecting a red color for the page background, you can red tint the image by playing on the opacity setting. The image will not be tinted by setting opacity to a value of 0 and is pure red by setting the opacity to a value of 100.

Note: press the Control key to modify color or opacity for the whole elements.

Borders

Check a box to define the background color of the matching element. Set borders width using the edit text. Click on the colored button to change borders color using the color box selector.
