Create AVI File

This plugin creates AVI video file using selected images in the current directory.

To create AVI file :

Select the images to include in the AVI file, using the 3D Photo Browser thumbnails window.
Images will be inserted in the animation using the order from the thumbnails window. If you want to modify the images order, simply do it using drag & drop (look at Creating and displaying a custom sort order for more information)
Set AVI file options (see below).
Then select a CODEC (video compressor/decompressor), configure it and press OK.
AVI file is created. A dialog box informs you on the work progression.

16 or 24 bits	Select this mode if you want a 16 bits (65536 colors) or a 24 bits color definition. These mode are the better mode to use for video creation.
8 bits Settings	Video will have 8 bits per pixel color definition. This means that you'll have 256 or less colors depending on the settings. Select this mode to reduce AVI file size. Click on Settings... to define parameters used during the 8 bits conversion.
Width / Height Keep proportions	Specify here the video size, in pixels. Selected images might have different sizes. Check Keep proportions if you don't want to modify proportions of images when they'll be inserted in the video. This option should be checked if you don't want to distort your images. Proportions calculation depends on the size of the first file to be inserted in the video.
Images / sec	Enter the frame rate used when playing the video.
Resize source Crop source	Video size might be different than images size. Check Resize source to enlarge or shrunk images to fit the video. Check Crop source to crop images bigger than the video. For such image, a centered crop is performed. Nothing is done for images smaller than video size.
Background color	Background color appears on the video, when images size is smaller than the video size. Click on the color picker to choose a color on the screen or, click on the color button to display the color selector dialog box.
