maintain uvw's max 9

How do I maintain uvw's in 3ds max 9? I'm trying to create lods with polygon cruncher, but I completely lose my unwrap. Any help or suggested will be appreciated.

Hello Stephan,

If your UVs are set through a modifier you should use Apply Modifier setting from the Polygon Cruncher Utility Panel.
You can also collapse the stack or convert your mesh to an editable mesh.

Then open Polygon Cruncher and select Keep Textures: Polygon Cruncher will take care about your UVs (you should see the texture in the viewer)
Click on optimize and select an optimization ratio, then click on Apply.

You should see the optimized mesh in the 3ds Max viewer and the texture should be kept.
