How to change the true north in FBX?

Hi, I have imported a FBX 3D model into Polygon Cruncher.

The original FBX model uses +Y as the true north
I notice that the true north of the FBX model has been changed after import.
The model uses -Y as true north

When I save as the FBX model, I have chosen the "update mode" but the 3D model in the FBX file still got the -Y as true north.

Could you please advise how do I get the original true north setting when I import the FBX file? Or how do I use the original FBX setting when I save the FBX file in the batch optimization?

Thank you.

Hello,

After performing some check on the file you provide, I noticed that 3DBrowser import gave the same result compared to 3ds Max.
I also notice that your FBX export does not contains a Y-up orientation but a Z-up orientation, as the FBX dump report it.
What I suspect is that the export from DNG does not correctly handle the orientation for the FBX file it output.

Do you have any option for tweaking the orientation?
What software do you use for output?

An option to reorient inside 3DBrowser would also probably be nice, when the output is not correctly performed.

Thanks,
Manuel

Could you guide me how to reorient the model inside the 3DBrowser? Can the reorient action be done in batch for multiple files in 3DBrowser?

The option does not currently exists but that could be a good idea to add such feature in the next release
