Zbrush

Hey
Suppose I have sculpted a high resolution mesh in Zbrush (ie 3 million polygons), and I intend to animate the low res mesh in 3D Max or Maya.
Than I export the high resolution mesh from Zbrush as an OBJ file, and open it into 3D Photo Browser, to reduce the amount of polygons (lets say 2 thousand polys) and save it as a new OBJ file.
Question: using this new low poly mesh, can I re-import it into Zbrush again, as a base mesh, considering I already have a high res mesh?
I intend to extract the Normal Map in Zbrush.
Tks
