I get this error every time I try to preview .mb files. I'm running Window's XP.

Maya2Mootools.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point ??4Mobject@@QAEAAV0@ABV0@@Z coult not be located in the dynamic link library FOUNDATION.dll.

Any ideas why this error appears?

Thanks, -Jeremy

Hello again Jeremy,

If I refer to your previous message, you are using Maya 8.0.

The message you got appears because you didn't setup the correct version of the 3D Photo Browser plugin for Maya.

When you setup 3D Photo Browser did you select the 3D Photo Browser plugin for Maya 7 or the 3D Photo Browser plugin for Maya 8.5?

Please try both choices. The plugin for Maya 8.5 may work but nothing is sure.
Maya evolves between release 8 and release 8.5 and the foundation.dll library probably changed. This is why you have such message.

I hope this help,
Manuel

Have you ever tried using the 3D browser with the Maya Personal Learning Edition 8.5? That's what I did when I received this error. Thanks, -Jeremy

You are true, I didn't try.
The plugin was created for Maya Unlimited 8.5 and I thought that it should also worked with Maya Personal Edition 8.5.

I'll try this soon and take you informed on the results.

Manuel
