Objects List

This function toggle on/off Objects list.
Objects list is useful to show/hide objects in the scene. Check/uncheck the checkbox left the object name to show/hide it.

Note: Objects list is automatically hidden in full screen mode.

Displaying information on objects

In the Objects list window, click on an object name to get information about it.

Materials List

This function allows you to toggle on/off Materials list.
Materials list is useful to show/hide faces which has a given material in the scene. Check/uncheck the checkbox left the material name to show/hide faces which use material.

Note: Materials list is automatically hidden in full screen mode.

In the Materials list window, click on an material name to get information about it.

Predefined points of view
Version: Light / for Dig. Cam. / for 3D Users
menu access : View

keyboard access: 2, 4, 6, 8, 5, Ctrl+5 of the numeric pad

View the scene from the top, front, left... using predefined views.
Zoom factor does not change when you selet one predefined view. Use Fit on view if you need to enlarge/shrink scene to fit the view.

You've got 3 different display modes and 2 combinated modes:

Combinated modes are really useful to check the mesh polygons.

Enable Texturing

Check this setting to enable or disable texturing. This is a shortcut for the Enable Texturing setting in the preferences dialog (Textures tab).

Enable Vertexs Colors

Check this setting to enable or disable vertexs colors. This is a shortcut for the Use vertexs colors when possible setting in the preferences dialog (General tab).

Fit on Screen
Version: Light / for Dig. Cam. / for 3D Users

keyboard access: 0 (Num. pad)

The "Fit on Screen" commands shrink or enlarge scene to fit the view.

Full Screen
Version: Light / for Dig. Cam. / for 3D Users

This toggles Full Screen mode on. To close Full Screen mode, press on the Tab key.
