OpenGL / Tools

OpenGL view offers you several tools to move in and around your scene. Here is a description these tools..

Navigating in the 3D scene
Version: Light / for Dig. Cam. / for 3D Users
menu access: Tools
OpenGL viewer toolbar
keyboard access:

You use the following shortcuts keys to activate temporarily a moving tools:

• Ctrl: to zoom in/out the scene.
• Alt: to rotate around the scene. By using the camera control, you can rotate around the scene along a given axis.
• Ctrl+Alt: to pan on your scene.
• Shift: to accelerate rotation, zoom, or pan.

Pan
Version: Light / for Dig. Cam. / for 3D Users
menu access: Tools
keyboard access: P, Ctrl + Alt

To move laterally on the scene:

• Select "Pan" tool
• Click and move on the OpenGL view to pan

Rotate
Version: Light / for Dig. Cam. / for 3D Users
menu access: Tools
keyboard access: R, Alt

To turn around the scene:

• Select "Rotate" tool
• Click and move inside the circle control to rotate along X and Y axis, or
  Click and move outside the circle control to rotate along Z axis, or
  Click and move on a circle control handle to rotate along X or Y axis

Zoom
Version: Light / for Dig. Cam. / for 3D Users
menu access: Tools
keyboard access: Z, Ctrl

To zoom in/out the scene:

• Select "Zoom" tool
• Click and move up the screen to zoom in
  Click and move down the screen to zoom out
