2D editor / View

This functions does not change image content. They just modify the way image is displayed on the view.

Changing the image displayed

Toolbar access

Select the image or the layer you want to display (Alpha channel, Z-Buffer…) by clicking on the Display image list icon in the toolbar. An image list is displayed on the left of the window. Click on a thumbnail to display it in the viewer.

Move

Move your image inside view by clicking and moving image in the direction you wish.
Note: only available when image is not entirely visible in the window.

Zoom /2

Use this function to divide zoom factor by 2, which reduce image in the view.

Zoom x2
Version: Light / for Dig. Cam. / for 3D Users

keyboard access: + (Num. pad)

Use this function to multiply zoom factor by 2, which magnify image in the view.

Zoom In / Out
Version: Light / for Dig. Cam. / for 3D Users
menu access: View
keyboard access: Shift / Ctrl + - (Num. pad)

The Zoom in / out tool magnifies or reduces image in the view. In order to zoom in:

• Left click on the part you want magnify. Image is centered on the clicked pixel, magnified by a factor 2.
• Left click and move to define a frame containing the part you want to magnify.
  

In order to zoom out:

• Right click on the part you want reduce. Image is reduce by a factor 2, centered, when possible, on the clicked pixel.

Auto Fit On View

The Auto fit on view command specify that 3D Photo Browser should automatically shrink or enlarge image (when it is first opened) to fit the view.
This is a preference settings you can toggle on and off.

Checking it will deactivate Zoom lock.

Zoom Lock
Version: Light / for Dig. Cam. / for 3D Users

keyboard access: Ctrl+. (Num. pad)

The Zoom lock command saves and locks the current zoom ratio. If the image is displayed at 200% and you check Zoom lock, next images will be displayed at 200%
This is a preference settings you can toggle on and off.

Checking it will deactivate Auto fit on view.

Actual Size
Version: Light / for Dig. Cam. / for 3D Users

Display image to its actual size. Zoom factor is equal to 100% which means that no magnification/reduction is performed. One pixel of the image is displayed on one pixel of the screen.

Fit On View
Version: Light / for Dig. Cam. / for 3D Users
menu access: View
keyboard access: Ctrl+0 (Num. pad)

The Fit on view command shrink or enlarge image to fit the view.

Full Screen
Version: Light / for Dig. Cam. / for 3D Users
menu access: View
keyboard access: Tab

This toggles Full screen mode on. To close Full screen mode, press on the tab key.
