3D Browser Pro is your image editing tool that not only will save you countless
hours of work, it is also a tool you may find yourself using over and over and
over again. Not only can you use it to browse all of your images anywhere on
your hard drive, you can also use it as a remarkable polygon-crunching tool!
This program may soon become your personal browser that is able to quickly look
at and even catalog all of your 2D images and 3D objects.
3D Browser Pro is more like your everyday file explorer except easier. You can
view, edit and organizing all your images, any of your 3D files and audio files.
For example; for each Directory that you browse, 3D Browser Pro displays each
Directory as thumbnails for each file it recognizes, which, by the way, 3D Browser
Pro can recognize over 60 image formats and plenty of 3D formats to help you
out every step of the way! Take a look at these 2D formats:

There are also
some customizable display modes where you can make your browsing experience
more enjoyable. For example you can set some image filters to display only .JPG
and/or .HTML files as you browse so that you can speed along looking for only
the files you need. As you browse each Directory and when 3D Browser Pro displays
the results it will also give you some useful information each file found such
as the size, height, width, number of faces and polygon count (just to name
a few)
All the images can be viewed or edited right from within 3D Browser Pro without
the use of any external program if you wish. You simply double-click on the
file and it opens the applicable 3D Browser Pro image viewer (if you open an
JPG image then it will open a viewer for that type, if you open an 3DS then
it opens that viewer). From here you can further edit the opened image. Since
I liked the poly reduction part of 3D Browser Pro let's take a look at these
features.
By opening a 3D file 3D Browser Pro allows you to rotate the 3D image in 3D
space, view it in flat, smooth or wireframe mode. It also allows for zooming
but maybe more importantly it shows you all the objects in the 3D file where
you can then show or hide any of those components! But what my favorite aspect
of this part of the program is how it will crunch any 3D model (Pro Version
required). While viewing the 3D model simply click a button and it takes you
to the Polygon Cruncher area. From here you can crunch and munch your 3D file
with many of its' available options at a click of a button! This is one powerful
feature and worth the extra license, especially if you like to work with 3D
game programming, etc. The Polygon Cruncher lets you reduce the number of faces
but uses its own intelligent reduction method, which means that you can reduce
any model up to 75% without removing any of the details! You keep all the texture
and color information, you can apply crunches on one or more objects at the
same time, you can protect the borders of any object, and so much more. With
the Polygon Cruncher you get to control the number of faces or points that you
want to remove and work with.
Normally I have never been a big fan of image browsers but 3D Browser Pro has
radically changed my perspectives on it now! 3D Browser Pro is easy to use and
can do so much more than those I have tried in the past. With so many options
(some left untouched here) maybe it would be best for you to take a look and
see what you've been missing in other image browsers. 3D Browser Pro is feature
rich so take a browse over there as soon as you can.
